Tai & Esther - Cultus Lake Photographer
To get to photograph a love that’s weathered 22 years is a beautiful thing.
Esther and Tai recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. It was so special to get to capture a love and a marriage that has weathered twenty-two years together. I often get to photograph young love (which is so incredibly special in its own way) but to get to photograph a love that has been through years together, holding to the vows they once made is amazing. It’s a joy to get to behold and you can see their love for each other come right through these images.
Thanks for the opportunity to get to photograph the two of you. I hope you love these photos and get to treasure them for years to come.
Sikma Family - Abbotsford Family Photographer
I love this family. I basically grew up with them; I called them Uncle Tom and Aunty Monica, even though we were in no way related. Our families used to spend every new years eve together and I just loved getting to do photos for them.
I love this family. I basically grew up with them; I called them Uncle Tom and Aunty Monica, even though we were in no way related. Our families used to spend every new years eve together. Janelle and I ended up becoming very close friends (like our moms) and we’re even roommates currently (unlike our moms). Janelle, her older sister Vanessa, and I used to run around doing photoshoots, and I’d take hundreds of photographs of them when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. It makes for good memories at the very least ;) Getting to do photos for them was so wonderful because each and every one of them is so wonderful. We met up in that weird part of winter where it wasn’t quite snowy but it was really cold and that day it was SO COLD that the rain was kind of becoming snow, but not really. They were CHAMPS because I kind of made them get rid of their umbrellas for a few photos and they didn’t complain one bit. Also, they are the proudest grandparents you ever did see.
Cam & Breanna - Abbotsford Wedding Photographer
I hope these photos bring you joy and that when you’re eighty and flipping through your wedding album with your great-grandchildren that you can still remember and feel the specific emotions and moments in each photograph.
This wedding you guys. THIS WEDDING. K first, it was the most beautiful day in January possible. When they booked me originally, I was totally worried about the possibility of having to drive around town all day in the snow, not gonna lie. But their wedding day dawned bright and clear and beautiful.
Breanna got ready in the Sandman Hotel with her bridal party and family - we even dashed across the parking lot to Moxies for a few pre-wedding drinks and then it was off to the clayburn village church, where Cam & Breanna committed their lives to each other in an intimate, emotional service.
After the ceremony and congratulations, we soaked in the sunset at Willband Creek park and I was probably on cloud nine. The light was phenomeeenaaall.
Seriously you guys, I have nothing but fond and happy memories of your wedding day, and I feel so honored to have been able to photograph one of the most important days of your lives. I hope these photos bring you joy and that when you’re eighty and flipping through your wedding album with your great-grandchildren that you can still remember and feel the specific emotions and moments in each photograph.
Luke & Paige - Chilliwack Proposal Photographer
After a few family photos on the beach, Luke proposed to Paige, surrounded by the fog, water, and BC mountains.
When Paige booked me for family photos, a few minutes later Luke texted me about a *slight* change of plans he had in mind. After we did some adorable family shots of these two and Axel at Cultus Lake, Luke and Paige settled for some ‘casual’ couple photos on the dock - and that was where Luke popped the question. Paige cried, Luke cried, and I teared up a little! Even baby Axel cried - although that was because he was in his carseat and his toque had fallen over his eyes so he couldn’t see ;)
Luke & Paige, I am SO HAPPY for you guys. I’m so lucky to get to call you both family, and can’t wait for the absolute party your wedding is going to be. Love you both!!

Justin & Taylor - Engaged - Mission Engagement Photographer
If this engagement session is any indication, Justin & Taylor’s wedding is going to be fun, hilarious, and overflowing with love and kindness.
I LOVE engagement sessions. They’re always a ton of fun - and they’re SO important. As a photographer, I love getting to know my clients before their wedding in a relaxed session where I can see how they interact with each other, how they work with a camera, and honestly just have a good time in general! Justin & Taylor were basically camera pros - they loved cuddling, and laughing. Oh my, the laughing. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get couples to loosen up and laugh, but I honestly didn’t need them at all this time! They are so clearly in love with each other and pumped to start their lives together. You guys, it’s an honour to get to be your wedding photographer. I am SO EXCITED for your wedding !! If this engagement session is any indication, your wedding is going to be fun, hilarious, and overflowing with love and kindness.

Harry & Alicia -Chilliwack Family Photographer
A repeat family, a helicopter, cookies, and some killer mountains. There’s so much to see, and even more to love.
I always feel so blessed when people ask me to come and capture them and their family. It is seriously such an honour and a privilege, and I promise you I don’t take it lightly, and I promise you I love it so much. It’s even more of a joy when people ask you to do their photos not once, or twice, but for the THIRD time. Harry and Alicia, it has been such a privilege getting to photograph you guys once again. Thank you for letting me into your home this way.
Meagan -Langley Portrait Photographer
A gorgeous Aussie in her fave BC places.
Meagan wanted to adventure around some of her favourite places in BC before she heads back to Australia. I was obviously game. We lucked out in the most amazing way for weather - as in it was a torrential downpour when we drove, but it was perfectly clear when my camera was out. I don’t even know how it happened. But. You can’t make this stuff up. It was just that good of a session.
Meags, it was so fun getting to capture you here. You’ll always have a home in BC ♥
Struik Family - Abbotsford Family Photographer
My love for in-home, quiet, documentary type sessions knows no bounds. Fred & Alex, thank you for letting me capture your family once again.
Fred & Alex are repeat clients (this statement makes my heart so happy you guys, you have no idea) and they are just so full of love and thankfulness and joy and it was such a pleasure to get to go into their home and take photos of their beautiful, growing family.
Also, my love for in-home, quiet, documentary style type sessions knows no bounds. There’s something about how intimate and real the photos feel - this is you, this is your family, this is where you are in life right now.
Fred and Alex, your family is one hundred percent wonderful, and I hope you absolutely love these photos of this precious time in your life.
