Grace and Tyson - Alouette Lake Engagement Photographer
Big tree-lines, cold lake water splashes, and lots of flirting!
When I met with Grace for coffee I knew right away that I wanted to photograph her wedding to Tyson; her laugh, the way she talked about her fiance, and even seeing the video of Tyson proposing to her made me feel like this was a love story I really couldn’t wait to document! And the first part of that is the engagement shoot. We chose to go to Alouette Lake since it’s an area they love as a couple, and spend the majority of our time at the river portion (which was just insanely beautiful). Their chemistry was off the charts and I had the best time photographing these two flirting and cuddling and loving on each other. If this session is any indication, their wedding is going to be the BEST.
Sarah and Ben - Lighthouse Park Engagement Photographer
A lighthouse, a setting sun, slushies, sailboats, and the sweetest couple make for one of my fave shoots all year !!
I hardly know where to start with this session - one of my favourite engagement photoshoots to date! The location was stunning, the weather was perfect, and the couple was down to earth, comfortable, totally in love, and down for basically anything I asked for! They climbed rocks, stood on logs, waved at sailboats, twirled and dipped and sipped on slushies and we just honestly had the best time. To say I’m excited for their wedding is an understatement. S+B, I think I might love you guys - and I definitely love these photos.
Madison & Kasen - Campbell Valley Regional Park Wedding Photographer
Big open fields, a bright blue sky, and the biggest smiles you ever did see - all things you’ll find scrolling through this wedding day.
Madison and Kasen got married on a warm, sunny day in August and every single second was filled with lots of big ear-to-ear smiles, dimples, squinty-eyes from laughing, and true belly laughs. All of their people were just so happy to see these two lovebirds tie the knot, and it felt like their love just shone through in each image we took. A few of my favourite highlights:
The letter + gifts they gave each other to open while getting ready
The three different first looks Madison had with her family + girlfriends
The prayer between Madison + her parents before leaving for the church
Aaaaaall the emotions at the ceremony + receiving line
The way their bridal party just really got into pictures and were clearly having the best time
The slit on Madison’s dress + the hay bale combo (!!!!)
Every single time Madison and Kasen looked at each other all in love
It was truly such a great day photographing this wedding and I love thinking that these images will grace their walls and photobooks for years to come.
Pol Family - Spring Abbotsford Family Session
Don’t sleep on springtime golden hour sessions! Plus, see how much fun a fam session with a toddler can be!
Everyone loves golden hour in the fall - and for good reason! It is glorious. But you know what else is super gorgeous? Golden hour any other time of the year! Don’t sleep on spring time golden hour sessions! The weather is good, the grass is green, and the light is perfection. Family photos don’t have to be taken in September + October to be worth your time + investment! Take a peek at the Pol’s sweet spring family session to convince you if you don’t already believe me.
PS did you know that my family sessions can include a lot of fun? We play games, blow bubbles, swing kiddos in the air - the goal is to take family photos from being stressful to a fun time for everyone, even a toddler up past their bedtime ;)
Tianna + Liam - Aldergrove Wedding Photographer
A beautiful summer wedding involving disc golf, secret handshakes, starbucks, and a whole lotta love.
All weddings are beautiful, but there’s something extra sweet about getting to photograph your dear cousin as a bride marrying her best friend. There were a lot of things to love about this wedding day but some of my favourites:
Tianna getting ready in her childhood home (plus her dad’s reaction)
The thoughtful gifts she gave each of her bridesmaids
Tianna + Liam’s first look!
The sweet shaded area with great light we found (a photogs happiest time)
The lil bit of Disc Golfing we did (Liam is an AVID disc golfer)
An emotional ceremony (you could tangibly feel the love)
The handshake they did right before their first kiss as husband and wife
A quick Starbucks stop (always make time to stop for things you love on your wedding day!!)
Thanks for having me along T+L, it was a true, true honour!
Fall Mini Sessions - Vedder River Family Photographer
we had the most amazing golden fall light during my october mini sessions this year!
Just another lil plug for mini sessions in the fall - you get great light, updated photographs of your loved ones, and it’s just always a good time! Thanks to all those who booked with me this year; it was such a treat for me to photograph you!
Amy + Jeff - Abbotsford Proposal and Engagement Photographer
Getting to photograph Jeff’s proposal to Amy was one of the highlights of my 2024 year!
Getting to photograph the proposal of Jeff and Amy was a huge highlight of my 2024 year! It’s such a special moment, and I always tear up the tiniest bit watching two people get engaged. Thanks for trusting me with such a big time in your lives!
Elliot - Surrey Newborn Photographer
getting to capture my adorable, squishy little nephew is a true gift!
ALL newborn sessions are special to me, but this one was extra sweet because it was my newest nephew! There’s nothing like getting to photograph people you love entering a new stage of life and getting to welcome the newest member of your fam.
Thaya + Justin - Chilliwack Engagement Photographer
Fall colours + a pickup truck = a dream worthy engagement session!
When I met Thaya for coffee, I knew instantly that photographing her and Justin would be a special experience! To be invited into a couple’s love is always a privilege, but it’s even more so when the couple is as welcoming, sweet, head-over-heels, and just an all around joyful presence! Thaya and Justin had a bit of everything at their session, including a sweet pickup truck, fall colours, and nose crinkle laughs!
Fall Mini Sessions at Flowers by the Fraser
mini family sessions at a colourful flower farm is something everyone needs at least once!
It’s no secret that I love a good mini session. It’s no secret that I love fall light (and fall in general). And it’s also no secret that I looooove a good floral bouquet. We got all of those things during my fall mini sessions this year at the stunning Flowers by the Fraser flower farm in Matsqui. Even though the weather was overcast + a tiny bit drizzly, the light was good, the colours were beautiful, and the clients were incredible! Book mini sessions folks - you’ll never, ever regret it!
