These two, you guys. Mik is one of my dearest friends and I am SO HAPPY for her to be getting married to someone who makes her so happy. Mik and Derrick have been separated by the border closure for far too long, and to know that there is an end date is amazing. They’ve been through so much these past few months, and to get to photograph the two of them all in love and engaged was amazing. They really personalized their engagement session by bringing along Derrick’s dog, Trooper, taking photos in the back of Derrick’s truck, and them some quick photos at 0 ave, where they’ve had nearly all their dates since COVID hit.

Thanks for trusting me to photograph the two of you, Mik and Derrick, you guys are the absolute best!

Steven & Heather - Abbotsford Engagement Photographer

Heather is one of my dearest friends. We met at work, quickly became close friends, and I was SO thrilled to be able to photograph her engagement!! They clearly adore and love each other, and I couldn’t be happier for them, and just cannot wait for their wedding this fall! (also we had to speed photograph this session because the mosquitoes were SO BAD, I think we each got at least 100 bites. by the end of the night, my legs were covered in red bumps! so thanks to these two for being such troopers and smiling through the literal pain!)

Jaymie Jolena - Newborn In-Home Photography

Matt and Sue are repeat clients who just had the cutest and sweetest little addition to their growing family. Jaymie Jolena is beautiful, and so clearly adored by her siblings and her parents. It’s too bad I couldn’t be at the hospital like I was for Kenzie’s arrival but I also have a special place in my heart for in-home sessions.

Luke & Paige - Chilliwack Backyard Wedding Photographer

Luke and Paige had a intimate backyard party to celebrate their marriage! (If you missed their proposal, you can see that here!) These two had eloped together quietly before, and then had friends and family join them at their home later. It was full of joy, good food, games, and loved ones. And even though this day was definitely about Luke and Paige, their son Axel might have stolen the show COMPLETELY.

Brenden and Sarah had a beautiful, joy-filled wedding that took place surrounded by plants, friends, and so much love. These two were just SO excited to be together and be married, and it was such an honour to get to photograph their day.

I met Kyle and Hannah for photos on a beautiful, bright sunshine-y day that was supposed to be overcast, pouring rain, and cold. It was cold, but so, so bright and clear! We went to Saar Bank Farms (the barn was our location of choice because of the forecast) and got to use the whole property. It was such a fun, wonderful time - these two are so clearly in love with each other and make each other so incredibly happy and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this summer!

This whole session KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. I have the enormous privilege of getting to work with Abi and her free spirited-ness and joy and we became friends after she joined our EA team (i like to think pretty quickly ;) ), which has been nothing but a blessing. So getting to hang out with her outside of work AND meet her man AND take photos of the two of them all in love AND getting food with them afterwards AND getting to try a new location AND having perfect weather made this whole day the best ever?!
