Meagan wanted to adventure around some of her favourite places in BC before she heads back to Australia. I was obviously game. We lucked out in the most amazing way for weather - as in it was a torrential downpour when we drove, but it was perfectly clear when my camera was out. I don’t even know how it happened. But. You can’t make this stuff up. It was just that good of a session.

I got to meet Clif and Danaé at Stepping Stones this summer, and they not only killed it as amazing counselors, but are just all-around fantastic people. I was THRILLEEED to do photos for them when Danaé asked - not only did I get to meet Asha but it was to celebrate Asha’s 1st birthday! Thanks for asking me to hang out with you guys and document this important milestone. (also, Asha is THE happiest baby I’ve ever seen, my goodness.)

Matt & Sue -Crescent Family Photographer

Matt & Sue often take their kids to Crescent beach in the summer to get dinner and hang out in the evening; they'll hunt for crabs, throw rocks in the water, and spend time together as a family. Getting invited to come along and photograph this fun, everyday summer event for them was honestly such a joy! I love doing documentary sessions and just capturing what is happening around me.

Credo Grad 2018 -Abbotsford Prom Photographer

I got to do photos for these stunning five girls on their grad, and i was SO excited. The weather was actually perfect, and everything was amazing. Just amaaaazing. I have no other words about this day. Just look at the pictures and love on them. 

Hazel Marie Vandeburgt -Aldergrove Newborn Photographer

This family session was the absolute bomb. So, so, so good. Right before I took off to Stepping Stones Bible Camp to be on staff for 6 weeks (currently on week 2 and loving it!!), Allison contacted me, saying that they'd love a photo session with the newest member of their family, precious Hazel Marie. I was STOKED. This family is the cutest. It also came together suuuper quickly, like she asked me on the Monday and we did photos on the Saturday, and she was incredibly flexible with the timing as well, which was awesome. I went to their home and was just surrounded by the cutest girls ever. Rob is totally outnumbered, and he is clearly overjoyed to be so. These girls are all so precious, and it was honestly such an honor to do their photos.

Rob and Allison, I am so happy for you and your family of six. Congratulations on the birth of beautiful baby Hazel, and thanks for welcoming me into your home <3 

Alena Georgia -Mission Birth Photographer

Guuuuyyss. Remember Paige & Jesse, from their amazing mat session? Well, meet their baby girl! Alena Georgia entered the world stealing hearts left, right, and center. It's not a stretch to say that she is one of the cutest babies I've seen! I was lucky enough to get to do photos within 48 hours of her birth and then do a newborn session in their home. I'm so happy for Paige and Jesse as they begin the incredible journey of parenthood, and can't wait to get more precious baby snuggles.

Landon & Amanda -Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

Landon & Amanda got married on a Saturday in the beautiful Shelby's Pond out in Chilliwack. I've never been there before, but was totally enraptured by the venue with it's stunning ceremony location, barns, farmhouses, apple orchards, and more.

The ceremony was so incredibly sweet and heartfelt; I was totally, one hundred percent, tearing up behind the camera as Landon and Amanda shared their personalized vows. And I was not the only one - both of Amanda's sisters in the bridal party had a hard time holding it together too, as well as friends and family in the audience. It was hard to maintain your composure in the presence of something so real and beautiful and genuine. Seriously you guys, it was SUCH a pleasure to get to witness and photograph the two of you committing your lives to each other. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Gill & I wish you the happiest of futures together!

We had the perfect, sunniest week...and the day we scheduled our photoshoot called for rain. We decided to go ahead, rain or shine (Alex was sure Josie would have a blast running through puddles in her rain boots!) and it was kind of perfect weather! It barely rained, and Josie got to run through puddles without getting soaked. Win win win.
