Alex & Jamie - Abbotsford Wedding Photographer
Jamie & Alex’s beautiful spring wedding had lots of amazing moments including some cute little animals and a vintage car!
Alex and Jamie are hands down one of the most relaxed couples I’ve had the privilege of working with! Here are a couple of things I loved about their wedding day:
Jamie’s dress! I mean, it had pockets (!!! automatically makes every dress a little bit more awesome)
Jamie getting ready at her childhood home with her mom & sisters
The fact that it was supposed to rain all day and did not rain one drop
The amazing property where we did portraits (Thank you again, Saar Banks Farms!)
All the animals in the background of some of Jamie & Alex’s portraits
The vintage car Alex rented for the day
Polaroids being used as their guestbook (seriously. best idea!)
The amazing light we got at Cultus lake after the ceremony
The pizza they served for dinner at their reception (I love pizza so much)
The whole day was just incredible to get to be a part of. Thank you for trusting me to document your day, Mr. & Mrs. Moesker!
Josh & Katie - Deroche Winter Wedding
Josh and Katie’s winter wonderland wedding was the best way to kick-off the 2022 wedding season!
My first wedding of 2022 was Josh and Katie’s amazing winter wonderland wedding! There was lots of snow on the ground in Deroche which made for some really beautiful portraits. Josh and Katie were relaxed and the whole day was just full of laughter & adjusting on the fly; road conditions in the winter mean that everyone needs to be a bit flexible - yay for Katie planning lots of buffer time in her schedule so even though things ran late, we still had enough time for photos! I can’t stress this enough - add in extra time in your wedding timeline! This day really could not have gone better - I was so happy to get document this day for Josh & Katie, and pray for a long and happy marriage for the two of them!
Ronald & Janessa - Norrish Creek Engagement
Norrish Creek with the most beautiful sunshine and two of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting!
Janessa and Ronald suggested going to Norrish Creek for their engagement session, and I was a little nervous at first since I had never shot there before - but it went amazingly! The river was so beautiful and the sun came through the trees in the most pristine way and I pretty sure I said something along the lines of, “you guys have NO idea how good this looks!!!” probably around a hundred times. I’m so thankful to have met these two and I am excited to capture their wedding this year.
Curtis & Abigail - Old Clayburn Engagement
Old Clayburn village and the two happiest people.
I LOVE doing sessions in nature, but I also love getting to do sessions in a urban setting, being forced out of my comfort zone, thinking outside the box, and getting different results than what I normally do! That is exactly what I got with Abi and Curtis’ engagement session. I met Abi through work and I’ll forever be thankful to ACS for introducing us. Abi is such a bright, joyful, exuberant personality and it was such an honour to get to photograph her engagement to the love of her life. I can’t WAAAIIT for their wedding!
Weston & Rachelle - Campbell Valley Park Engagement
A really beautiful Campbell valley engagement session with two people who are just all in love with each other.
I have all the heart eyes for these two! I also really love their height difference - I think it makes for fun photos! Their personalities mesh so well together and it was so fun getting to know them as a couple. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this May! (fun fact - they are getting married on my anniversary! it’s bound to be an amazing day simply because it’s the best day to get married, imo ;) )
Paul & Breanne - Williams Park Engagement
These two are just the absolute sweetest & the winter sun was the perfect addition to this session.
Linde Family - Aldergrove Park Family Photographer
How can you not love the smile on Jasper’s face?
This was a quick mini session which resulted in some of my favourite images! How can you not love the little smile on Jasper’s face?
Emma Lynn Appleyard - Edmonton Newborn Photographer
I loved, loved getting to fly to Edmonton to meet and photograph the sweetest little bundle of joy.
One of my closest friends had the sweetest baby girl in 2021 and I had the opportunity with another good friend to fly to Edmonton to meet Emma and support Danielle + Rielly as they adjusted to life as a family of three. They are killin’ it (obviously) and are already such amazing parents to Emma. I was honored to get to capture their family in this new stage of life. (also, how amazing is that pink blanket with Emma’s name embroidered on it?!)
Josh & Katie - Vedder River Engagement Photos
Josh and Katie, the Vedder river, and loads of sunshine.
I met Josh and Katie at the Vedder River on a really beautiful afternoon and we had a great time wandering around (looking for shade mostly haha). The river is one of my favourite spots for pictures; it’s so versatile and offers some amazing backdrops. Josh and Katie were the best to photograph and were game for basically any pose ideas I had.
I loved, loved getting to document their engagement and I really can’t wait for their wedding this winter!
Steven & Heather - Fishtrap Creek Wedding Photographer
A rainy day radiating love and true joy for two beautiful people.
I have ALL the heart eyes for this incredible, rainy day wedding. I have been good friends with Heather for four years and doing photos for her wedding day to her guy, Steven, was SUCH a blast. Heather has a contagious laugh, a huge heart for others, a passion to serve the Lord, and was the most stunning bride. Her vintage vibes were immaculate.
Steven and Heather’s wedding day was also so relaxed! Their first look wasn’t til 3PM, and their ceremony wasn’t til 7 PM. I have a bunch of favourite details from their wedding day:
Heather’s stunning emerald wedding ring
The bouquet that Heather, her sister, and her friends put together themselves the night before
Steven’s reaction during their first look (I’m not getting teary, you’re getting teary)
The forest corridor that kept us dry during the rain and made for some beautiful portraits
The donuts and appy food at their reception (I am still dreaming about the donuts tbh)
The cake that one of Heather’s students made!
The absolute hilarity in their relaxed wedding reception
Heather and Steven, let’s be best friends forever until we’re super old and wrinkly. Thanks for having me along for your wedding day, I love you both!
