Tianna + Liam - Aldergrove Wedding Photographer

All weddings are beautiful, but there’s something extra sweet about getting to photograph your dear cousin as a bride marrying her best friend. There were a lot of things to love about this wedding day but some of my favourites:

• Tianna getting ready in her childhood home (plus her dad’s reaction)

• The thoughtful gifts she gave each of her bridesmaids

• Tianna + Liam’s first look!

• The sweet shaded area with great light we found (a photogs happiest time)

• The lil bit of Disc Golfing we did (Liam is an AVID disc golfer)

• An emotional ceremony (you could tangibly feel the love)

• The handshake they did right before their first kiss as husband and wife

• A quick Starbucks stop (always make time to stop for things you love on your wedding day!!)

When I met Thaya for coffee, I knew instantly that photographing her and Justin would be a special experience! To be invited into a couple’s love is always a privilege, but it’s even more so when the couple is as welcoming, sweet, head-over-heels, and just an all around joyful presence! Thaya and Justin had a bit of everything at their session, including a sweet pickup truck, fall colours, and nose crinkle laughs!

Fall Mini Sessions at Flowers by the Fraser

It’s no secret that I love a good mini session. It’s no secret that I love fall light (and fall in general). And it’s also no secret that I looooove a good floral bouquet. We got all of those things during my fall mini sessions this year at the stunning Flowers by the Fraser flower farm in Matsqui. Even though the weather was overcast + a tiny bit drizzly, the light was good, the colours were beautiful, and the clients were incredible! Book mini sessions folks - you’ll never, ever regret it!

Sometimes the stars align for a perfect engagement session, and this was one of those times! The weather held out, we got the mountain views, and I had the sweetest couple to document! Both were relaxed, in love, and it was so easy to photograph the two of them together. Madi and Kasen, I seriously cannot waaaaaait for your wedding day!

Miller - Langley Newborn Session

I was privileged enough to photograph sweet Miller in his first few weeks of life! The little yawns, scrunchy toes, the newborn baby smell…there is nothing like it! Thanks for inviting me into your home J & R; it was an honour to document the start of your family of three!

Matthew and Adrian - Surrey Couples Photographer

Matthew and Adrian were in Vancouver celebrating their wedding anniversary and I had the privilege of documenting the two of them together! They hadn’t gotten photos together since their wedding years ago, and it was so, so fun getting to photograph them, chat with them, and laugh with them. They were so easy to talk to and I am so happy to give them photographs capturing their relationship. This is what I believe: you don’t need a special occasion to celebrate your love; get photographs of you and your partner and rejoice in what you’ve built together!
